From his origins among the Baoulé people, French Deal’s creative director, Steeven Kodjia, rediscovered the characteristic fabric of his culture in 2018 and decided to make it the heart of the Volume 4 collection. This fabric, synonymous with celebration and elegance, evokes tradition, family and identity. Steeven Kodjia has made it the defining touch of his collection, allowing him to highlight and refine this authentic and little-known ancestral artisanal know-how.
More than a clash of cultures, it is a true marriage of genres. For this fourth opus, Kodjia creates contemporary pieces that combine streetwear cuts, refined tailoring, and traditional weaving.
