Diane Pernet, journalist and founder of the Paris Fashion Film Festival ASVOF (A Shaded View of Fashion) went to the French Deal showroom to discover the world of the house.
She then wrote an article on her blog, which retraced the history of Steeven Kodjia, the artistic director, as well as that of the brand, while highlighting the Volume 4 collection and its fashion film “L’odyssée du peuple Baouli” (The odyssey of the Baouli people).
In the 90s, Lunatic, Oxmo Puccino, Pit Baccardi, Les X-Men, Jedi…were part of the Parisian collective Time Bomb.
Kamal Haussman, author of the book “TIME BOMB” published by Albin Michel, joined this hip hop collective at the age of 14. This book is his testimony on the epic of the collective that revolutionized French rap.
Kamal has chosen the French Deal house for its events, which is also deeply rooted in hip hop DNA.

Steeven Kodjia, artistic director of French Deal met with the media The Kraal for an exclusive interview. In this interview he talks about the Volume 4 collection, its origins and its development. He also tells the story of the latest fashion film of the house “Volume 4” which won the BEST FASHION award at the International Fashion Film Festival of La Jolla.
On December 2, Steeven Kodjia was one of the guests at the launch of the “Petit manuel bienveillant du made in France” written by the consulting firm Leherpeur Paris. On this occasion, the creator and artistic director of French Deal was able to share his experiences with the made in France and his expectations of it. Last September, French Deal was nominated for the London Fashion Film Festival in the “BEST MAJOR BRAND PRODUCTION” category for its fashion film Volume 4.
